This activity is aimed specifically for young people aged 17-30 years who have a passion about ENTREPRENEUR, SOCIAL PROGRAM, CULTURE and ready to become part of the WORLD youth Community.

Youth Excursion program allows students from WORLD countries to gain amazing experience. Our program development model is for youth, by youth – encouraging participants to share knowledge, experiences, and a passion for WORLD issues

Background Program

Tokyo is known as one of the largest cities in the world which also becomes one of the centers of the world economy. In addition, Tokyo is also the center of various other fields, such as technology, history, culture, and education.

About Program

During this tour, participants will be visiting places that are considered as icons of Tokyo in the field of technology, history, culture and sducation, as well as places that are the center of Tokyo city tour. From technological side, participants will visit technology museum, which is Miraikan and one of the museums of leading technology company, Panasonic. Then the participants will visit historical places such as Edo Tokyo museum and Imperial Palace. To get to know Japanese culture, participants will visit Asakusa and visit Ooedo Onsen Monogatari. This tour will also take participants to visit the tourist attractions which are the icons of Tokyo, such as Ueno and Shibuya.

Goals Program

Provide knowledge to participants about technology, history and education system in Japan.

In October, Japan enters autumn, so the weather will tend to be cool with temperatures in the range of 15-20 degrees Celsius.

Day 1

Friday, October 13th, 2017

Arrival at Haneda International Airport

All participant must arrive at Haneda International Airport at least 15:00

DAY 2

Saturday October 14th, 2017

Tokyo University (Tokyo)

The University of Tokyo is the most prestigious universities in Japan and was established in 1877. During the visit, participants will surround 5 campuses of the University of Tokyo. In addition to observing the campus atmosphere, participants will also receive an explanation of Tokyo university campus life. Through visits to this campus, participants are expected to understand and learn how the educational system in force in Japan.

Waseda University (Tokyo)

Waseda University was founded in 1882 as the Tōkyō Senmon Gakkō by Ōkuma Shigenobu, the school was formally renamed Waseda University in 1902. Participants will observing the campus atmosphere, and also receive an explanation of Weseda university campus life.

Shibuya  (Tokyo)

Shibuya is one of the twenty-three city wards of Tokyo, but often refers to just the popular shopping and entertainment area found around Shibuya Station. In this regard, Shibuya is one of Tokyo's most colorful and busy districts, packed with shopping, dining and nightclubs serving swarms of visitors that come to the district everyday.

Ameyoko (Tokyo)

Ameyoko (アメ横) is a busy market street along the Yamanote Line tracks between Okachimachi and Ueno Stations. American products used to be available there when the street was the site of a black market in the years following World War Two. Today, various products such as clothes, bags, cosmetics, fresh fish, dried food and spices are sold along Ameyoko.

Asakusa (Tokyo)

Asakusa's main attraction is Sensoji, a very popular Buddhist temple, built in the 7th century. The temple is approached via the Nakamise, a shopping street that has been providing temple visitors with a variety of traditional, local snacks and tourist souvenirs for centuries.

Edo Tokyo Museum (Tokyo)

The Edo-Tokyo Museum is housed in a unique looking building in the Ryogoku district. The museum's permanent exhibition vividly illustrates the past of Tokyo (known as Edo until 1869) through its exhibits and covers many features of the capital from the Edo Period to relatively recent decades.

 Imperial Palace (Tokyo)

The current Imperial Palace is located on the former site of Edo Castle, a large park area surrounded by moats and massive stone walls in the center of Tokyo, a short walk from Tokyo Station. It is the residence of Japan's Imperial Family.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building (Tokyo)

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku is often visited by tourists for its free observation decks which provide good panoramic views of Tokyo and beyond. The 243 meter tall building has two towers, and each houses an observatory at a height of 202 meters. It had been the tallest building in Tokyo in 2007.

Monday October 16th, 2017

Tsukiji Fish Market (Tokyo)

Tsukiji Market is best known as one of the world's largest fish markets, handling over 2,000 tons of marine products per day. The sight of the many kinds of fresh seafood and the busy atmosphere of scooters, trucks, sellers and buyers hurrying around, make Tsukiji Market a major tourist attractions. Tsukiji Market consists of an inner market where most of the wholesale business and the famous tuna auctions are taking place, and an outer market whose retail shops and restaurants cater to the public.

Miraikan (Tokyo)

 

This place is highly interactive and bilingual science museum includes exhibits about environmental issues, robots (starring Asimo among others), information technology, biology and space exploration.

Panasonic Centre Tokyo (Tokyo)

The Panasonic Center is a showroom for the latest products and technologies by the Panasonic Corporation. On display are the newest cameras, TVs, computers, Nintendo games, home appliances and more. The third floor is Risupia, a hands-on math and science museum.

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari (Tokyo)

Opened in 2003, Oedo Onsen is a hot spring theme park which reproduces the atmosphere of the Edo Period. Here you can enjoy various types of indoor and outdoor baths which are fed by hot spring water pumped from a depth of 1400 meters. Restaurants, massage, games and other entertainment, as well as overnight stays are available.
